Bay Beach

Tuesday we packed the 2 vans full of 6 adults and 7 kids and headed to Bay Beach. We used to go as a family when we were little and our spouses had never been or our children. The tickets are a quarter and the kids ride are 1 ticket. It poured the whole way up but stopped for a good 3 hours for us to ride some rides and then poured the whole way home.

Toby and Gideon got in a good nap on the way up.

We met mom, Jenna, and Elise up there as they were at a cabin near by.

Wednesday night (Aug 3) Lydia took the older 3 girls to the park, McDonalds for icecream, a movie in her bed and then a sleep over.

Here they are getting ready for the movie. Lina was the only one who made it through the night.

We spent a morning at Tonya's house. Thankfully she had some blocks to entertain all her nieces and nephew.

Wednesday (Aug 10) I made the trek back to Florida with the kids. My mom helped me to the gate and then it was me and 3 kids till Derek met me at the gate 2 1/2 hours later. They did pretty well but not something I'd want to do every day. What a fun trip we had lots of fun memories!!

Procrastination

So I should be getting things done but Mya requested a dance party in the office with Rapunzel songs. Putting pictures up is much more fun than dishes and cleaning!


We bought a boat. The 2 times the kids and I have gone with Derek to try to get pictures it has rained so we got a few through the rain drops.

but actually does a pretty good job of eating it.

Rainy Days

The last 2 weeks there has been downpours everyday sometimes all day other times just for an hour. Toby had a fun time playing in it one afternoon.

Toby is actually very sweet with Levi. I love when he comes and kisses him on the head.

For Christmas Mya had gotten some bath paints. Instead of using them in the bath I thought it would be easier to clean it up outside. They put it all over the cardboard and then had fun slipping and sliding in it.

Happy 4th of July!

This morning we went to the parade with some friend.

The kids are all napping and then we are heading over to some friends house for a cookout. These are the desserts i'm brining. Cupcakes and Cheesecake with blueberries, raspberries, and white chocolate chips!

CARS 2

Last night we went to a Drive-In Movie Theater. I have always wanted to do this since I was little and when we saw they were playing Cars 2 and it only cost $10 for the whole family we gave it a try!

We thought since Toby really liked the movie Cars this would be a good one to take them to because he will actually sit and watch it...oh no I don't think he sat still for more than 30 sec at a time and that was to get popcorn and put it into his mouth:) Here he was down in front of the seat handing me everything off of the floor. It was also 87 degrees out so it was quite warm but to open the windows the mosquitos were horrible. It was a fun night though and for $10 it was worth it!
