St. Nicks

The kids were so excited for St. Nicks.  We have them hanging around the doorway to the living room.  When they woke up that morning they were gone and the kids were so confused.  Derek had to work the night shift so we waited till he came home at 8 to open them.

Bucs Stadium Tour

The beginning of December we took a tour of the Bucs Stadium with some other homeschool families.

 The guy who did the tour was fabulous.  He'd tell the kids they needed to be quiet, they didn't make a peep, he'd tell them to get in line, they got in a straight line.  One of the most interesting things he said was that there was enough wiring in the building to start at the 50 yard line, go up to the Fl/GA line and then all the way over to Texas!!

 They also have fake squawking bird noises playing to keep other birds away from the stadium so they don't have to clean up bird droppings.

 It was fun for our 4 to see the stadium as we get to go watch the Packers play the Bucs on the 21st there!!

Oh just a boy and his dog.

 We had a fun afternoon out on the boat with the Rittenhouses!!  They stayed the night on their way back to Ohio from Disney.

 Mya was so excited to get to hold baby Addy.  She is my cousin Drew and wife MaryBeth's baby.  

From the 10th - 14th I got to go to New York City.  Derek ever so kindly took his last week of vacation to watch the kiddos (and did a fabulous job, even scrubbed the floors!!) and I got to spend the week with my sister Carrie and niece Nora.  This is a view of the skyline from the cab.

 Nora had surgery the week before and we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House which was a close walk to her check up appointments.  Whenever you see those little boxes for the RMH that collect money, be sure to drop a few coins in them!  This is a great organization really helping families who's kids are in treatment, having surgeries, or in the hospital for extended periods of times.

 Nora is a doll!!  Her smile and sweet wave just melt your heart.

 Carrie and I had a fun time seeing some of the city.

 While I was there Ivy turned 2!!

After a dr. appointment we stopped at Serendipity for a Frozen Hot Chocolate.

 Our favorite activity was rolling the formula can:)  It was such a fun week spending time together, relaxing, and hanging out.  

When I got back Grandpa and Grandma Stock came!!  We celebrated Ivy's 2nd birthday with them:)

 Ivy loves Frozen so a Frozen balloon and cake were a must!

 Grandpa and Grandma Blaubach sent a box of goodies too.  There was an outfit in it but all Ivy cared about at the moment was trying to get every single Kit-Kat bar in her hands.  She kept saying, "WOW" "WOW"

 GO PACK GO!  We got to enjoy a GREAT Packer win with them.

 Mya got an early birthday present from them.  A sewing machine!  Grandma showed Mya all the ins and outs of it.

 The weather has been beautiful and we had a fun hiking day at Lettuce Lake Park.

The day after Thanksgiving we got a REAL Christmas tree.  Toby was devastated because he wanted the job of putting together the Christmas tree.
