Closing Day...

We are officially Home Owners in Florida!! We closed on our house today. We are painting the kids room and then hopefully next weekend moving in.

Mya helped Derek get the boxes down from the attic to start packing. She was quite proud of herself that she could help!

Toby kept himself busy on Mya's bike.

We have the keys!! Our closing was at 11:30 but didn't get the keys till almost 3.

Christmas Blog 3

Ok so this is the last WI/Christmas post. It was a wonderful trip and now maybe i'll get the rest of January caught up between packing up boxes and hopefully moving next week!!

We went to Monkey Joes with Grandma D and Uncle Stefan. It took 4 adults to watch 2 kids. They had a blast!

For the married and dating kids Christmas present we went on a tour of the Pabst Mansion,

and then enjoyed a wonderful meal at Magianos! I want another piece of this cake!!

Sisters, Sisters, there were never such devoted sisters (we missed you Angie!)

New Years Eve while our parents had dinner together we stayed and had a party and then they joined us around 11:30.

Lina was determined to stay up till midnight...

Then we had some fun with sparklers. I think in the 10 min we were outside it dropped about 20 degrees in temperature.

New Years Day Derek took the kids over to his parents house to watch the Badgers game while I went with my parents and to drop Tonya off at the airport in Chicago and then drove up to Oconto to visit my aunt and uncle.

Sunday we watched a great Packer Game over at Derek's parents house.

Christmas 2

After the Christmas Eve Service we went back to Kristen's parents and had a yummy supper with Subs, shrimp (Aunt Jenna's favorite) and topped off with sparkling grape juice.

Then they all snuggled in their sleeping bags and we all watched While You Were Sleeping.

They all slept in front of the Christmas tree (Derek, Toby, and I slept in our beds). Mya chose the spot in fron of the fireplace and Christmas morning when I came up she was still sleeping.

I think Toby really looks like me in this picture.

Aunt Tonya came all the way from China to spend Christmas with everyone. It was so fun to have her there!

While we waited for the Spors to get to mom and dad's we talked with the van Rensburgs on skype.

Then we had a yummy breakfast of eggs and Krants. The tie Derek is wearing and the scarf I am wearing is what Angie and Dylan sent from Indonesia.

Then all the grandkids opened presents. Aren't they just too cute!

Mya got a dr. kit, poor Derek got a shot.

Toby slept through the opening of presents so when he woke up he opened his animals.

Then we headed over to Great Grandpa and Grandma Vriesmans house to see everyone and for a yummy lunch!!

After that we went to Grandpa and Grandma Stock's. Toby enjoyed opening his stocking.

After presents we had lots of yummy snacks. Notice the bite marks out of the cheese? No there was not a mouse, Mya decided she didn't want them and kindly put the pieces back for someone else to enjoy:)

Christmas Blog 1

Ok so these pictures are long over due and i'll just keep putting some up till I get it done. Mya, Toby, and I flew up to WI on the 17th and Derek joined us on the 24th. We all stayed till the 4th. We had a fun time spending time with family and friends, seeing snow, Christmas, and many other things! Enjoy the pictures, more to come.

They were so excited to see all the planes! Ours was 1/2 an hour late so we watched the others for awhile:)

We made a trip to Great Grandpa and Grandma Blaubach's. They enjoyed all the toys that I played with when I was their age.

My parents (Kristen) neighbor won a contest and a bunch of different firetrucks came and talked to the kids and gave them little goodie bags. It was cold but the kids had fun.

Doggie rides with Aunt Lydia...this was after Toby spent two days screaming at Lucy and wanted nothing to do with her. The next 2 weeks I think Lucy wished he wanted nothing to do with her.
