Mya's dance recital and Pics of Derek

Mya had her dance recital on Saturday.  She did a Spanish tap dance.  This was at the rehearsal Thursday.  She LOVED the red lipstick:)

Her friend Delaney was in her class.  I enjoyed it that as then her mom and I could talk during their class each week.

 Saturday was the big day and she was so excited that daddy got to finally see her dance.  He had seen enough dancing after 2 1/2 hours and 31 dance performances!

 Derek was cutting the grass and I made a comment about his socks..He thought he needed to complete the outfit by hiking up his shorts and the faces go along with it pretty good:)

Happy Golden Birthday!

On June 6 we had a Golden Birthday!  Mya turned 6 on the 6th.  So for a golden birthday everything needs to be golden right?  I think she liked her golden tutu and her golden shirt.  Also if you look closely you can see her golden finger nails (and golden toes):)  and a big thanks to pinterest and you tube for directions on making the shirt and tutu!

Fun

Mya had an achievement night at school were we could see all the work she had done.  We walked and rode scooters up to the school.

 Mya with her teacher Mrs. Brunson.  We have been so blessed that Mya had her as a teacher this year!  She loves the Lord and it has shown in all aspects of the classroom.

 In preparation for our trip to the Keys later this summer Derek got Mya and Toby goggles, Nerkels (as Toby calls them) and fins.

 Toby and I made a tent the other day and he got to take his nap in it...in the eyes of a 3 year old that is a pretty good day!

 Mya has her dance recital next week.  They had their group pictures the other day and got their costumes.  She is doing a Spanish style tap dance.

They asked us to put makeup on them...not sure i'm ready for that.
