Scalloping

Scalloping season started!!  We headed up to Homosassa to scallop and check out a spring.

 Some fun things to check out while Derek parked the truck.

On the island with the lighthouse there are some monkeys.  I don't remember the story of how they got there but it was fun to see them.

 Ivy wanted to join in the fun of finding scallops.

 Toby was ready!

 Ivy entertained herself by trying on all the different fins, masks, and snorkels.

Levi had fun just swimming around the boat.

 We weren't able to stay out very long before a big storm came in but they did find a few.  Mya was able to get some by herself and Derek dragged Toby down to get some.

 Toby thought it was pretty cool to wear daddy's hat. 

 When the storm hit the open water we went in to check out the Spring.  The water was cold to get into but then it felt really good.

The kids loved jumping into the water off the boat and swimming around.

Levi perfected his belly flop and then after about the 5th one he decided they really did hurt.
