Grandma D Visit

Derek's mom came down Feb 27- March8

 We enjoyed a beautiful day out on the boat in downtown Tampa.  The kids were picking out which mansion they wanted:)

 We docked the boat at a restaurant on the water.  You can see part of it on the very right of this picture.   

 We ate outside and the birds wanted to join in.  Ivy liked them though:)

 I guess waiting patiently for your food is hard work!

 Sunday night we headed over to Strawberry Festival.  We thought we would give a shout out to the cows in WI:)

The highlight of the night though was cotton candy!!

 It took Ivy some convincing...

 and then there was no turning back!

 I enjoyed the most delicious bloom'n onion! 

Monday we headed down to see the Manatees and have lunch with daddy.

 Ivy was very excited!

 and she loved that we let her walk down the pier

 fun with Grandma D!!

and Tuesday we had a fun lunch with Mya.  That morning the power went off for a few hours.  Since then the boys will wake up in the morning at least once or twice a week and do a double check to make sure we have power:)

 Wednesday Derek took the day off and we enjoyed watching him catch our dinner.

 He shot 2 fish with one shot!!  Yes I have a very talented husband! 

 3 fish in an hour is pretty good!

 We all hung out by the rocks in between the bridges.

 A starfish we found.

Friday we tried for one last day outside.  It was very windy and way to cold for these crazy boys to be in the water!

 Ivy much preferred a nap in the car under a towel than being in the wind.

 Thanks grandma D for coming down and visit!  We love you!
