This and That

Last Wednesday Mya finished her first year of Cubbies.

Mya came out Sunday morning saying she was ready for church...she went through the drawer that has the clothes that are to small.

Today we went to Busch Gardens and Toby got to ride the swings. He LOVED it (and Mya had fun too)!

Blueberry Picking

A few weeks ago we went to pick blueberries. They were yummy yummy! We had to cut it short though as it started pouring! As we walked back to the car Mya was very excited and said, "MOM its like a shower!"

Toby enjoyed eating them while we picked:)

Levi just slept.

Some of our blueberries. Mya and I went back the next day and left the boys with daddy. All together we picked 16 cups.

One morning I made blueberry pancakes. Mya was not a fan. I said she just had to eat the one she started and would not get anything else till it was gone. When Derek came home he told Mya that when he was little he would plug his nose and eat food he didn't like because then you can't taste it. So Mya finished the pancake while plugging her nose.

She wouldn't eat a blueberry pancake yet later night she curled up on the couch with a container of green peppers.

St Augustine

Saturday Derek and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. We packed up the kids and headed to St. Augustine. It was a fun relaxing weekend!

Our first stop was this fun playground. Toby was hoping Mya would take him to a place with food and wanted nothing to do with this picture

Then we went to Fort Castillo de San Marcos. As you can see Toby has his food and in a much better mood:)

The kids loved running all around and exploring. Right after we go there they had a cannon go off. We didn't make it up the stairs in time to see it but we heard it!

Then we headed to the Santa Maria for lunch. It was at the end of a pier and the door that Mya has open was to feed the fish. They brought a basket of bread that you could drop pieces through the door to the fish in the ocean.

After lunch it downpoured and dropped from 88 degrees to 68 degrees. We walked back to our car in the rain and waited out the rain at the hotel. Everything was closed by the time the rain stopped but we found a fun pier to walk on.

Cheese!

This could have kept them entertained for hours.

Then Chick Fil A for supper

The next morning we headed to the fountain of youth.

The fountain is on the right where the light is. There is a man filling up cups that you can take a drink from the fountain.

There were peacocks walking all over. I did not know that white peacocks exsisted. Very cool to see!

Mya got a little too close to this one and up went its feathers.

Next we went to the St. Augustine lighthouse. Derek and Mya made a smashed penny with a lighthouse.

Refusing to look at the camera. She will turn her head if you say look at the camera but her eyes go the other direction. Little stinker!

Mya was very disapointed that she was to short to go up to the top of the lighthouse. There was another family there with a Mya also that was to short to go up and they were both crying rather dramatically together:)

Our last stop before heading home was St. Augustine beach.

I think Mya would live at the beach if she could. She was dancing and jumping in the waves.

Toby was not a big fan of the water but loved the sand.

Then back to the car where they slept the whole way home:)

So Toby figured out how to crawl out of his crib...

but doesn't like to stay in his toddle bed. We had this gate in the garage and once it went around his bed he falls asleep much quicker because there is nothing he can get into:)

Aunt Carrie found this vest at a rummage and I just think he looks so adorable in it.

National Train Day

Saturday was national train day. Tampa Union Station had booths set up, model trains, and you could go inside the Amtrak.

So excited to see the trains!

She wore this hat the whole time.

Toby loved the trains and kept saying choo choo

Levi wanted in on the excitement too!
