Magic Kingdom

Last Thursday (5/13) we headed to Magic Kingdom for our last park. It was another beautiful day and extra special because Grandma D (Derek's mom) was able to join us!!

Mya was quite excited to see Cinderella's castle. I don't think she new what to do at first.

Tea cups, we hardly had to wait in line at any of the rides.

Sharing a drink with Grandma D. They each had their own straws but Mya switch straws every couple of minutes.

For Mya's birthday, Grandma D treated us to lunch with Cinderella in the castle (also all the accessories and a hand made dress are compliments of Grandma D). This is Mya waiting to get her picture taken with Cinderella.

After pictures with Cinderella we climbed the royal staircase for our lunch.

Mya got a wand and Toby got a sword. It kept Derek occupied:)

Mya got a special little cake for her birthday.

All the princesses came around to the table.

Race car. I was in front of these crazy drivers who liked to crash!

The parade of lights had the pumpkin carriage and cinderella and the prince. Very neat!

What a fun day!

Dedication

Toby was dedicated today at the 11:15 service. Picture with the pastor.

There were 7 babies dedicated that service. These are some good friends of ours whose little girl, Anna, was also dedicated.

As they called each family up they put a picture of the child and a verse the parents had chosen. We chose 1 Timothy 4:12.

For all the dedications Grandpa and Grandma Blaubach have had "Lamb" cakes made with the verse He gently leads those who have young.

Hollywood Studios

So on our way to Orlando there are these busses in the ground and I always want to get a picture but miss them, so I made sure this time I got them.

Mya has been asking to see the BIG Mickey hat at the studios after I showed her a picture online.

We forgot Toby's hat at home so he got this cute Tigger hat!

We saw lots of characters!

I told Mya to make a sad place like she was in jail.

Meeting Buzz and Woody. We liked waiting in line and meeting them because it was air-conditioned! It was in the 90's and humid yesterday so any chance to go inside was nice!

Another highlight was the Beauty and the Beast musical.

We made a trip over to see Lightning McQueen and Mater.

and finally we took a ride on the Studio Backlot tour to see different movie sets. Mya was asleep by the end of this tour.

The Beach

This afternoon (Saturday) we headed to our favorite spot on Anna Maria. It was a beautiful afternoon for some fun in the sun!

Daddy took Toby for his first dip in the water. He didn't know quite what to think.

Building sand castles. She was so excited to go to the beach. As we were walking she kept telling us we needed to go faster and ran right for the water. She is our little beach babe.

Friday night we headed over to the subdivision next to us that has no houses yet but lots of ponds.

Such a pretty smile.

So it is hard to get them both to smile at once. This was the best one.
