At the end of August Derek's Grandma Stock passed away. Although it was a sad reason to make a trip to WI, we were thankful for all the time we had with family.
They were so excited that they got to ride the tram at the airport.
There's our plane!
Ivy excited for her first plane ride and Levi being Levi:)
The other half of the gang. The kids did great and the second plane they all slept!
We had a few hours with Uncle Nathan before we took up to school.
Mya stayed to play with Lina and Belle while the boys, Ivy and I went with Grandma Holly to take him to Platteville.
Nathan's dorm is the building behind and up on the 4th floor. There wasn't an elevator but thankfully Nathan is a light packer and we only had 6 trips up. Nathan's roomates nick-name is Eagle. When my mom told that to Toby she looked at her with a very puzzled look and said, "Is he a bird?"
After the Funeral on Friday we had a very nice luncheon and was able to visit with family and get this sweet shot of Grandma D and the girls.
Of course Saturday we went to Taco Bell...it's tradition!
Saturday night the girls (missing Angie, Carrie, and Lydia:() went over to Tonya's house for a yummy supper. I think this is the 1st time since we started having kids that there wasn't even a baby!
Ok so these are out of order but Thursday night we got to watch a Packer Game at Grandma and Grandpa Stock's house!
Mya was sound asleep by the end of the night!!
The kids were up by the latest 6:30 each morning because of the time difference. So this was an early morning game of twister with Aunt Jenna:)
Lots of fun new places to get into.
Sweet girl!
Breakfast at Dunkin Donuts with daddy before he went back to Florida! I stayed till the end of the week with the kids.
Snuggles with Grandpa.
Skyping with Uncle Trevor and Aunt Kate and Pheonix and Zane in England.
Toby waiting for Grandpa Blaubach to finish cutting the lawn...
so they could play some baseball!
On Labor Day Great Grandpa and Grandma Blaubach came over and we celebrated Great Grandpa's 88th birthday!!
Outside fun with cousins!
This guy was determined he would use the pogo stick...maybe in a few years!
Ivy met Great Grandpa McClain for the first time!
All the kids with Great Grandpa.
Pretty princesses and ballerinas.
Snack time!
Tuesday afternoon Levi fell on a chair and knocked his tooth loose and damaged quite a bit of cartilage. I pushed the tooth back into place and we took him to the dentist. The 1st dentist said he wanted us to take him to a pediatric dentist and have them x-ray it to make sure the bone wasn't broken (he left teeth marks in the chair). Levi isn't one of the kids that loves to sit still but the dentist said in the 30 years of practicing they have never had a kid his age sit as still as he did. Way to go Levi. Also his teeth are fine and he can eat normal:)
Sleep over for about 45 min.
We went to Aunt Tonya's house for breakfast and had yummy donuts!
Ivy and Simeon enjoy theirs!
We weren't going fast enough for Levi so he folded his hands and prayed by himself:) It was very sweet.
Grandma Holly giving a lesson on how to "tip" the beans.
Playing with some type of goop that is best played with outside!
Ivy hanging out with Aunt Elise.
Toby and Belle having a deep discussion.
Thursday morning we went to the park with Grandma D and Great Grandpa and Grandma.
Then we had lunch at Pop's. Had to have some Custard!!
Grandpa helping Levi eat a cookie...he was on a "soft" food diet or break everything up into little pieces and only chew with your side teeth.
Crazy girls on our way to Klode Beach.
7 of the 10 Grandkids....we missed you Raquel, Gideon, and Roman (and Angie and Dylan too)
Going down the really big hill!
Smile!
Having fun at the beach.
Picnic in the park!
Mya helping Grandma make pizza for a fun supper with Grandpa and Grandma Stock!
Ivy playing with all the squirt guns.
Jenna and Mya.
Saying Goodbye before we head on home.
The boys helped grandpa cut some firewood.
And one last game of football before we leave.
Elise and Ivy.
Elise and Jenna.
Sweet cousins!
One last hug before getting on the airplane.
On the way home I had all 4 kids by myself. They did great and Derek was on the other side waiting for us.
These are the times I am SO thankful for technology!
