B-day, Valentine's and Butterflies

Howdy Partner!

Mya had a Valentines party at school last week.  The flowers were for her teachers and the valentines (front and back) were for the kids in her class.  She colored all the valentines and wrote her name.  She also helped glue the flowers together.

We were able to attend the party.  Toby fit right in with the class! It was very sweet that Mya LOVED having him there:)

Valentines day we had pink pancakes for lunch.  We also decorated the windows.  Mya cut out the hearts.

 For supper we had spagetti, red pepers, strawberries, sparkling grape juice, and heart shaped cookies with pink frosting.  Derek and Toby got me the beautiful flowers.

 Out of order but Derek turned 32 on the 5th (Super Bowl Sunday)!  We had cake Friday night, Fishing Saturday, and out to eat on Sunday.  Fun birthday weekend!

 Derek tied a t-rex to the end of Toby's line and he "fished all afternoon" catching a t-rex every time.  It is the green thing in the water.

 I (Kristen) caught 5 fish (we had to throw them all back though)  Notice how Toby has his shirt off.  Derek took his off and then Toby HAD to have his off:)

Levi wanted to check the fish out too.

 A few weeks ago Derek and the kids found a caterpillar.  They made a home for it and it spun a cacoon.  This is what it looked like the morning it came out. 

 When we came back from fishing the butterfly was out.  We let it go and are hoping it will come back to join us this summer in our butterfly garden, or at least one of his friends.
