Grandma Holly came to visit thanks to a frequent flyer ticket and Frontier Airlines closing out of Milwaukee. She flew into the Orlando airport so we explored the airport while we waited.
After we stopped at Downtown Disney for a little bit.

The kids played in the fountains and loved it! They were soaking wet but they slept good that night.
Grandma helped Mya put her calendar together.

Saturday morning mom watched the kids for us and we went canoing in the Hillsborough River. I was a little cautious to do this but it is something Derek has been wanting to do. We saw 10 alligators all together but still had all body parts at the end:)

Derek did most of the paddling, I just sat back and relaxed:)
It was a beautiful day and most of the river was covered by shade so it didn't feel as hot as it really was. The scenery was beautiful and we saw all kind of animals.
That night we went over to Uncle Phil and Aunt Pam's house for swimming, burgers and fun.
Toby and Mya had fun playing with Salina.
Levi got put int he cage so we didn't have to worry about him falling into the pool:)
No better place to fall asleep at 10:30 at night than on grandma!
Sunday we took the kids mini-golfing. Mom and I watched Levi and Derek helped Mya and Toby. No score was kept just a fun time of hitting and more hitting and well it eventually got in the hole:)

Happy Memorial Day!!
For Memorial Day instead of heading to the beach with the rest of Florida we thought we would try out a natural spring about 3 min from our house. It is 72 degrees all year round.
The water level was low due to no rain in the last few months but Levi loved as he could just sit and splash.
After being in the water for about 15 min everyone had to get out due to the rain. We were thankful that we hadn't driven the hour and a half to the beach and only had a few minutes to drive home. Later that day we were also thankful we hadn't driven to the beach as the van got a flat tire when Derek went to go hit golf balls and it was in a convenient place to get it fixed. Otherwise we would have been stuck on the side of the road!
If you can't tell what we are holding they are Pistachios. Mom and I went to the store and Mya decided she wanted to come with us bring her own money and buy something. It was between a cantaloupe and these. The Pistachios won out and grandma bought the cantaloupe.
We had a very yummy Memorial day meal of steak, potatoes, veggies, watermelon and hot dogs for the kiddos:)
Levi found the bag with the water wings and dragged it over to me because he wanted them on. He walked around for quite awhile with them on.
He went to bed with them on but had taken them off by the time I went in with the camera.

On the way to take Grandma back to the airport we were a little early so we stopped for a yummy breakfast at McDonalds. What a fun visit!!
